For one night is ok. Place is clean but room is a bit old and for an update

We were at the Property during last weekend and it was very noisy with a large African conference and an AFL football match on at the same time. Also the bar/eating area had minimal dining options.

We only had one night at the Alex, but would have loved more! Stylish lobby, a useful common area one floor up, compact comfortable room and walk to everything in Perths CBD. Friendly staff, what more could you want!

Location excellent for us without car. Room large and comfortable, good amenities. Reception staff pleasant and helpful, breakfast fare very good, excellent range. Easy reach of Murray and Hay St malls, shops and cafes.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It’s very convenient to walk to the shopping areas and there are many dining options around the hotel. All the staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Belle at the front desk and trainee Angelo who helped us with the luggage on the day of departure. The only drawback was that we were not given the type of room which we had booked until I had to highlight to the front desk and had it changed. It didn’t help after a very early arrival into Perth and would have expected a smoother check in. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant stay in the hotel.
