However, for a mild request I was asked for 98,000 yen. I found it inappropriate and not inline with Expedia platinum status.

Problem is a that it is very very challenging to get away from the area and the area is basically cheesy America.
The surroundings are over the top.cheesy American. So, if you ea t to see Times Square....this is the place for you.
If you want to experience Japan...... Stay elsewhere.

Very good hotel. Only downside for me was our room was situated near their stockroom/utilities cupboard and in the morning, you would hear the housekeeping crew chat and giggle outside the door. Otherwise, everything was great!
