Upon my arrival, I was greeted in a courteous and timely manner. However, during my first night, the fire alarm was triggered, and it became apparent that the staff was unaware of the situation. This caused significant confusion, with guests congregating in the lobby. Despite the commotion, the staff continued with check-ins and failed to communicate effectively with those of us who had evacuated the building. The following day, I inquired as to why the apartment hotel did not provide knives, making it difficult to prepare meals. It seems essential to have a sharp knife, particularly if guests are expected to cook. One of the primary reasons I chose this hotel was to save on dining expenses, and this was a major inconvenience. Additionally, I noticed that the website stated a late check-out option was available "subject to availability" and free of charge for an extra hour. However, when I requested this, I received a generic response stating that I would need to pay a \$30 fee, despite the website's conflicting information. This discrepancy left me somewhat disappointed.

My wife and I stayed at the Mecure hotel in july this year. We did stay at this Hotel last year as well. The Hotel is very close to all the shopping centres and Restaurants which is very convenient. Very easy to walk anywhere. The problem is the noise from other rooms and the waiting for a lift in the Hotel which can take 10 minutes. Staff are not really engaging and don't seem happy. I had a comfortable 3-night stay at this hotel. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were very friendly, especially Jennifer. It’s so close to Southern Cross that I could go everywhere easily. Would definitely stay here again!
