Northern Australia Adventure Holidays

The location is fantastic, the staff very helpful, the price excellent. However the rooms and beds are basic - we had two forks, two plates, two bowls etc but they were all different sizes (even the mugs didn’t match), no lock on the door, some of the wooden louvres were broken, and the couch was small and uncomfortable. We had a very nice balcony which we were grateful for but it’s all a bit tired and could do with an update. As I said value for money and location is great.

As it was winter it was freezing cold and the restaurant downstairs had everything wide open so we were unable to dine in and ended up with room service

Room was a little out dated, needs to be refunished with more modern items, especially the bathrooms. We had a bath with shower combo and was difficult to get in and out without handles near by to hold and sometimes slippery when wet. Staff was helpful in any questions asked, breakfast was satisfactory with options.

Fantastic location, with beautiful bush walks to neighbouring bays and access to reefs by tour. Only one restaurant on site but the food was delicious and decent prices for an island resort. You are in the forest so you might encounter insects and small spiders in the room. Wallabies living in and around the resort, amazing to see!

The resort just has a beautiful feel to it; surrounded by lush garden, and on the lagoon. Despite being so big, it is very well configured to feel very private and quiet.
