The main gripe was with the TV functionality (FTA channels only - couldn't even stream to the TV even though it supposedly had that functionality). No free Foxtel or anything else. The towels were re-hung up in the bathroom (not replaced with fresh ones). We had 4 guests so we then didn't know whose towels was whose. Not great for cleanliness and sharing of germs. There was no AC or fans in either bedroom so the single AC in the living room was somehow meant to cool or heat the entire apartment. We had to sleep with the window open all night to keep the temperature down and provide fresh air meaning a noisy night near the nightclub district till all hours of the morning. Finally, we found out later on, the price we paid during gather round was 3x the price during a normal period. Gather round isn't Xmas or Easter.

Ordinary room - no upgrade mentioned ( we are gold Expedia ) - hotel staff helpful , restaurant Luma very good , but small portions .

Very good hotel, good cleanliness, polite staff. We stayed in the "Ocean view room" and loved it. Excellent ambience with the constant sight of the beach from our room Even the decor in the Reception and above the stairs was beautiful. We received a complimentary sparkling wine to celebrate hubby's birthday and our anniversary, which was very thoughtful and a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend staying in this hotel. Our only suggestion to the hotel would be to change the carpets in the rooms and the entire hotel.
