"A hidden treasure - genuinely nothing not to like"

"Modern and stylish hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. Everyone we encountered was helpful, accommodating, and truly went the extra mile. The rooms are spacious, all offering ocean views, and the spa treatment was both relaxing and enjoyable. That said, two aspects could be improved. First, the cocktail program falls short of what you would expect from a hotel associated with a 3-star dining experience. Second, the room design and descriptions are misleading. The "Panoramic Deluxe" category is advertised as offering a wide, panoramic ocean view, and all photos on Expedia show that specific layout. However, not all "Panoramic Deluxe" rooms match this description. Some are simply a slightly larger version of the lower-tier "Double Horizon" category, without the true panoramic layout. When we raised this concern, the response was that room configurations vary and no alternative "Panoramic Deluxe" room was available. This was especially disappointing given the +20% price difference. In reality, we received what could be described as a "Premium Double Horizon," offering only about 10m² more space than the regular version. This feels misleading and is not acceptable for a hotel of this caliber. The property should update its room categories with clearer sub-types and transparent descriptions to avoid future guest frustration."

"Great couple of nights at this comfy hotel. The room was very nice and the air con was much welcomed! Very good shower and a comfortable bed. Excellent service from reception. Handy microwave in the public area to have an easy meal "

"The hotel is lovely. However, the location is extremely remote — it is not “minutes from everything” as they describe on their website. There is no car service or restaurants, or humans near by. There is literally nothing close to it — so not recommended for solo travelers & you definitely should not go without a car! To get anywhere costs at least €70++. The dining on property is limited — in lieu of the extravagant tasting menu at the Michelin rated restaurant which I’m sure is great, the only option to eat dinner was room service. Despite having another bistro on site, it apparently was only for aesthetics. The room was beautiful & comfortable. Somehow I ended up waking with bug bites in the morning all over my arms — which is hard to say came from the room but since that’s where I was for the day & night, because I had no where to roam — one can only assume. The staff was nice & if you want complete peace & quiet, this is the place for you!"

"I really liked this hotel for its uniqueness, location, stunning views, and great staff. You have to keep in mind that the building is very old, from something like the 1600’s , and there are nuisances to any old building versus a new structure. There are areas that could use some upgrades, simple things like pillows but that being said, the benefits of this gem are worth it."
