"The hotel location is very good and convenient. The cleanliness was good overall, and the breakfast was also good with a nice variety. The best part of the stay was the staff — everyone was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. However, the rooms feel quite old and are in need of repairs and renovation. With some updates to the rooms, the overall experience would be much better."

"I booked this hotel primarily in the excellent ratings which I cannot understand based on my experience. The hotel is well located within the Colonial Zone however there were several detractors. First and foremost, the rooms don’t have any air-conditioning which is a major flaw in a city as hot as Santo Domingo. My room (104) was in the ground floor and was very dark with no sun coming through the windows. The breakfast was mediocre at best with very limited selection and the scrambled eggs were cold. The rooftop poll is small and the loungers are uncomfortable. Not a great experience in my opinion."
