"The room is big and clean. It’s nice and convenient to have hotpot dinner in the dinning hall. The owner was very friendly and helpful."

"My room overlooking the village's central area provided interesting views into local life. Breakfast was available at the hotel's modest restaurant across the street. Helpful staff showed me the ingredients so I could build my own breakfast since I could not complete their Chinese language menu. The bathroom had its own onsen tub, so I did not use the spa."

"Bit shocked to learn they turn the hot water off after 8am! Also, lots of stairs to get to hotel especially in the rain!"

"The thermal spas are amazing. Although the outdoor one for us was closed for the two days for cleaning. Overall the hotel outside of the thermal spas is very dated and not the cleanest. we had some holes in linen and it was all a bit grimy. The staff were lovely and the food was great. "

"The worst was that the smoking area is around the most popular exit of the hotel. The breakfast area is too small and too crowd and I saw some who came late had to eat at the hotel lobby. The western style salad food is not enough. Overall, the breakfast provided was good. "
