Easy to find. Enough parking. Reception opening hours good. Staff informative despite language being slightly restricted. Clean room, comfortable. 1 x towel each supplied for duration of stay. Complimentary tea&coffee for arrival. Shower always hot. Jacuzzi&spa-had to enter names for hour slots throughout the day, jacuzzi temperature tepid (35 degrees), spa functioned well. Breakfast-continental, 8-10am which suited our lazy starts, plenty of food, filling-could go until late afternoon before eating again. 20-25mins easy walk to main street, Krupowki.
A great place to base yourself to explore Zakopane and surrounding mountains. We explored the town and surrounding areas, skiing for a few days. Skiing slightly limited compared to larger resorts but great prices with a beautiful backdrop. Be warned-ski rental below Willa Jan wasn't open when we were there but plenty of rentals in town or at slopes. Plenty of eating options on Krupowki st, mainly polish/eastern european cuisine but other cuisines catered for, mainly italian. Also enjoyed a trip to the aqua park and the FIS world ski jumping championship.
