Great location for the nearby slopes and only a short walk into the main town area. Hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable, with good showers - plenty of hot water! Breakfast was tasty, with plenty of cheeses, cold and warm meats and eggs on offer, but different to a UK breakfast - plenty of options but not cereal/cold milk, toast or fresh fruits if that is what you are looking for. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Property was in good location and was well presented. Slightly disappointed that it was adversities that there was ski storage and also a jacuzzi however on arrival there was neither. This should be updated in the website. The sauna was nice, breakfast was good, bedrooms were clean, tidy and spacious.

The hotel is in a lovely location 20 min walk to the main town Short walk to the ski runs. Short walk to the market only down fall it’s up hill walking back but it keeps you fit.

Overall a very cosy and comfortable stay!
Willa Jan’s address should be 3B instead of 8A and we missed a turn then went up to residential area which was pretty scary as it was one way only, super narrow and steep. We managed to make a u-turn and arrived at Wills Jan. They have free parking, and even a garage that can be locked at night (limited lots). People were all friendly, and can speak good English, so checking in and out was hassle free. We enjoyed the breakfast as well. Overall, we had a good stay. The only slight downsides were that it was about 10-15 mins walk away from the main Kuproski street, and check out was 11am instead of 12pm as stated on hotels.com.

wonderful place; highly recommended
I liked everything about Villa Jan; the location was still close enough to town to walk to the main shops and restaurants (Krupowki Street), but far enough away that it was quiet at night. You will need to take a bus or taxi to reach larger or better ski areas, but this is normal for the area. Breakfast each morning was excellent, and the desk staff were always nice and helpful throughout. My only criticism is that, during my stay, the hot tub rarely or never reached 40C, for some reason. In my experience it should not take more than 4 hours to reach 40C even from room temperature. I recommend that someone check in the early afternoon to ensure that it is ready for guests by the mid or late afternoon. Otherwise, the rooms (and everything else) were clean and nice. I did not bring any ski equipment of my own, but there is even a garage which I am sure could be used if you asked.

The hours for check-in and check-out are very limited, the parking near the hotel is uncomfortable and the breakfast is basic. The rooms are fine, the location quite good and there is an elevator.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean and modern place, nice rooms with a Zakopane feel to them, free to use jacuzzi, decent choice for breakfast (dont be too late tho, you wont get some of the foods). Very good location, a walking distance to town centre and outside enough to be quiet. Only thing i could complain about is that we booked a room with a balcony and got one without. Should have said something but we were too tired after a long journey.

Good option in Zakopane
Nice stay in Zakopane. Room was nice, just bed and pillow was to soft for me. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. They have a nice jacuzi and sauna facility. Location is not bad but could be better, it's walkable distance from main street, but in a rainny and snowing day it's harder to reach town without a táxi.

2 winter days in Zakopane
Nice small hotel with large comfortable rooms. Free sauna & jacuzzi, free breakfast. Nice view to the mountains, a bit out of town center, it takes more than 20 minutes to walk to the center something difficult especially during dark winter. Recommended if you have a car.

The hotel Willa Jan was ideally situated about 20 mins walk from the town centre. Unfortunately we were kept away at night by two dogs barking from a residence opposite! I don't know why the hotel puts up with it.... The room was Ok but we were surprised that there wasn't a maid service every day so we had to make our own beds, empty the bin etc. It doesn't really cater for English guests with only the reception person speaking English. They had satellite TV but all the English speaking channels were blocked. Good view of the mountains from balcony. Quite a cheap hotel, so its quality is reflected in the price.

4 pleasant nights at Willa Jan
Easy to find. Enough parking. Reception opening hours good. Staff informative despite language being slightly restricted. Clean room, comfortable. 1 x towel each supplied for duration of stay. Complimentary tea&coffee for arrival. Shower always hot. Jacuzzi&spa-had to enter names for hour slots throughout the day, jacuzzi temperature tepid (35 degrees), spa functioned well. Breakfast-continental, 8-10am which suited our lazy starts, plenty of food, filling-could go until late afternoon before eating again. 20-25mins easy walk to main street, Krupowki. A great place to base yourself to explore Zakopane and surrounding mountains. We explored the town and surrounding areas, skiing for a few days. Skiing slightly limited compared to larger resorts but great prices with a beautiful backdrop. Be warned-ski rental below Willa Jan wasn't open when we were there but plenty of rentals in town or at slopes. Plenty of eating options on Krupowki st, mainly polish/eastern european cuisine but other cuisines catered for, mainly italian. Also enjoyed a trip to the aqua park and the FIS world ski jumping championship.

An excellent base to locate
We stayed 11 nights B & B in the guest house part. (There are apartments too.)Helpful reception and other staff. Large bedroom with a fridge which is useful for keeping lunch food fresh. A very enjoyable 11 night stay. If you are not mobile a car is essential as it is up hill from the main road and the bus routes.( Buses appear every few minutes!).. The breakfast is as good as any spread I have experienced. Cereals, fruit juices, a variety of breads, meats, cheeses, scrambled egg, sausage, salads, jams and cake. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel/guest house.

Nice quiet room with a balcony with mountain view. Reasonable breakfast, although breakfast room quiet crowded. Friendly staff. Not a great location if you are visiting Zakopane for hiking/walking and don't have your own transport - it's about a 40 minute walk from the start of the Tatra Park walks, and there's no public transport. It's also about 1km out of town. Other than that, the place was great - I'd certainly recommend it if you have your own car, as most other guests did.

Took advice from other reviews and was not disappointed. Excellent breakfast and useful sauna/jacuzzi after hiking local trails. Easily walked into town in 15 mins and parking available at Willa Jan. Handy for chairlifts and market. Room had balcony with mountain views. Hope to return to Zakopane and happy to return to Willa Jan.

Omijajcie ten obiekt z daleka!!! Obsługa nie była pomocna oraz chciała wyciągnąć jak najwięcej pieniędzy od gości. Willa szczyci się, że można skorzystać z sauny, ale ich nie włączają (sauna parowa była wyłączona z uwagi na oszczędzanie). Pokój niezgodny z opisem.
