"Wonderful place with a wonderful owner. We were here in December and in that time of the year, be prepared to have warm clothes. As in every house around, you wear warm clothes inside as well. No central heating but AC in the rooms. The owner of the place is very helpful and everything can be solved thanks to a translation device/application, good mood and patience. " Ok, there is both good and bad with this Hotel. Let's start out with the good. The price was good. The room was clean. The room looked nice. The décor was nice. The view from the Balcony in my room was nice, but the view really depended on the weather. if the weather was bad, you could not see the mountains and were just stuck seeing other buildings It had hot water and decent water pressure. The staff was nice but spoke no English.

Close to the town area with lots of local restaurants around. They also offered to pick me up from Zhangjiajie train station complimentary. I enjoyed coffee and early sun on the roof deck with the resident cat. "
