Overall , my stay is satisfactory . Location is very good ; water for nice hot bath ; clean towels . The only thing is 3-star hotel with no amenities. Breakfast not provided . Value for $ will face competition with other 3-star around and even modern hostel accommodation like the Bed

Fave hotel in Yangon
My husband stayed here. It was his third hotel in Yangon this month, and he loved this one and extended an extra week. The rooms were small but functional. The area was great with lots of street food opportunities. The best thing was the restaurant/bar on the top floor where you had a perfect view of Schwedagon Pagoda. He said it seemed you could reach out and grab it.

Within walking distance to Shwedagon Pagoda. Get to experience the local market as there were many stalls along the main road selling fresh fruits, raw meats etc. Property is clean and quiet. Nice view of the Shwedagon Pagoda from the highest floor of the property.

Recommended hotel
View from the penthouse restaurant look over Shwedagon Pagoda was awesome, although surrounding hotel location is not so great. Hotel was clean, could use some update, room facility was excellent including having a luxury bidet on the toilet seat. Last but not least - the breakfast food was excellent with variety of options and good taste.

Standard Double Room haven't "deep soaking bathtub" as mentioned in room amenities. Hotel was located near a Shwedagon Pagoda (East). A lot of local food near a hotel.

Good location to go/see Shwedagon pagoda from room
Location - good location as just 5 mins walk to Shwedagon pagoda, you can see the local market just open the hotel door in the early morning Hotel & Room - quiet, clean, comfortable, spacious, can see the Shwedagon pagoda from rooftop and some room, fast wifi, friendly and helpful staffs Food - ok taste and not so varieties, time for breakfast is not ok as it's so short period and also start so late and finish so early (7.30 - 9.30)

Very good location and clean room
Location is very good for Yangon. Firstly I booked a hotel in the city center, but lated decided to be closer to Swedagon pagoda and far from noise. All taxi drivers know this hotel, we used Grab to go around the city. Swedagon is around the corner, local market with fruits, vegetables and street food are nearby. We also found a cheap shop with longyi. Room was very clean, big enough, with window and everything we neededd. Towels crystal white, even toothbrush was there. Staff is friendly and kind, speak basic english. I would recommend this hotel for short travels.

Great location and service. I accidentally made an error on the dates that I booked and they fixed it with no issues. Front desk was helpful in calling for drivers and providing local information. I didn't try the breakfast they offered.

easy to miss the hotel as the entrance was very small pricy basic hotel with good location to pagoda shwedagon - 5 mins walk a lot of street food outside the hotel one of the worst breakfast selection for a 3 star hotel staffs were all very friendly

Less than 5 Minutes Walk to Shwedagon Pagoda
Very close to Shwedagon Pagoda (not even 5 minutes) and literally around the corner. Rooms are small, basic but clean. There is no noise from outside the hotel at night. There is a breakfast room. Go to the roof for a beautiful view of Shwedagon Pagoda at day and night! Just outside the hotel are street vendors and market's with everything including food. There are also a few small convenience stores and shops to buy SIM cards. The road is narrow with cars and the sidewalk can be difficult, especially at night, so be careful. For people who can't easily, it is not easy. I recommend this hotel if you are only there for a short time and you want to go to Shwedagon Pagoda

Nice place, in a bustling local neighborhood.
Very clean, at a busy neighborhood with local flavor and vary close to the Pagoda. If there was one thing that can be improved I would say it is breakfast.

The view from the roof of the temple is magical. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions. This is a comfortable but not fancy choice. The breakfast could use more fresh fruit and lighter options...there was a choice of stir fried vegetables, a cooked egg, white bread for toast or some slightly oily pancakes. The market is wonderful...be prepared to negotiate crowded streets. And there is a nightly chorus from the neighborhood dogs....

The employees who were at the reception counter were very helpful in providing information about travelling in public transport to pagodas. One employee in particular named Mickey went out of her way to assist my wife and I.

Clean hotel, great location, pagoda view- amazing!
My stay at Hotel Lavender was lovely. All the staff was friendly, form the reception area, breakfast staff, guards, cleaning people. They all tried hard to make guests feel great. Going to the hotel terrace occasionally, specially in the evening - was so magical, looking at that huge golden Shwedagon pagoda. Around hotel is big traffic, vendors and "hustle and bustle" of Yangon, buddhist monks and nuns walking in big numbers. But at night it all calms down and is peaceful. They clean the streets over night. I did enjoyed staying in Hotel Lavender very much.

excellent hotel and staff!
The view from the roof top was absolutely amazing, we grabbed beers and watch the sun go down over the Pagoda - stunning. The staff were amazing and helped us with everything we needed including flights, food and what to do. Highly recommended.

Lavender hotel is a basic hotel that has the major advantage of being so close to Schwedagon Pagoda, the city's main attraction. From the roof of the hotel you can get a breath-taking view of the pagoda.

No safety box n the one of the reception lady staff is main problem unfriendly and bad attitude . her arrogant attitude will make u felt like uncomfort. If u extend room she didn felt happy because u stay more but she tell all staff she worry you run away without pay and really worse attitude ever most proud hotel u will explore

I stay two week here . This is new hotel the manager is Gd attitude and Friendly .starting stay no prob but after few day they hv management prob and some staff is unfriendly n bad attitude . Don expect too much . Only if u interest pagoda view.no restaurant nearby. N there is Thailand family they just ask reception for taxi price n the staff say is 80 and Thai family say they check outside is only 50 then the staff bad attitude talk them then u can go call and find the 50 usd taxi uself . Really ridiculous ..

また泊まりたくなるホテル
ミャンマーをぐるっと周り、帰国前に泊まりましたが、もうここは日本かって言うぐらい 快適に過ごさせてもらいました。屋上の露天風呂、日本食中心の朝食、TVもリアルタイムで日本番組が見られ、ミニバーの中も飲み放題、シュエダゴォン・パヤーの夜景もバッチリ！従業員の方々の対応も素晴らしい！ また泊まりたくなるホテルです！

ร.ร.วิวดีมากค่ะ โดยเฉพาะrooftop ร.ร.ใกล้ตลาด ใกล้ชเวดากอง เดินเที่ยวบริเวณโดยรอบสะดวก ไม่น่ากลัวถึงแม่จะเป็นตอนค่ำๆ ยังมีคนขายของอยู่ พนักงานที่ร.ร.ก็น่ารักทุกคน ยิ้มแย้มยินดีให้บริการ และความช่วยเหลือ ส่วนอาหารเช้าอยากบอกว่าอร่อยค่ะ ชอบมากๆ เป็นอาหารญี่ปุ่น เพราะร.ร.นี้เป็นของคนญี่ปุ่น แขกที่มาพักโดยส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นคนญี่ปุ่น แต่ถ้ามากินช้า อาหารอาจจะไม่ค่อยร้อนเท่าไหร่ แต่โดยรวมถือว่าดีมากค่ะ

Fantastisk udsigt Ville bo der igen
Hotellet ligger perfekt i forhold til Swedagon Pagoden. spændende livligt kvarter. fantastisk udsigt fra tagterrassen. Hotellet er japansk og det afspejler sig i flere dele på den gode måde. Mad og indretning. Dog mangler sengene topmadrasser. De er ret hårde og underligt at ligge på fjederne. men et generelt issue i Myanmar. Personalet er søde og hjælpsomme. Baren er lidt dyr. De japanske bade er kun for mænd, men vi fik lov til at bruge dem alligevel.

ドリンクサービスもトイレシャワーは助かり嬉しいですが、やはり日本のビジネスホテル並みには程遠い。 水圧が（超）低すぎるうえに、泡切れ悪いシャンプー類で、ダブルで入浴に疲れた。 スタッフの日本語も理解したのか、してないのか微妙が多くてイマイチ。笑顔だけは良かったです。
