"The hotel was located within walking distance of Forbidden City, Tiennemen Sq, a subway station and plenty of shops and dining options. Inside the hotel was quiet and safe. "Super cute & clean location, with a bar and ice cream spot within walking distance. In the heart- downtown- of Beijing. Lots of shops/ restaurants nearby. Staff is superb! Not only did they order DD Aka Ubers for us, but they even walked us to meet our DD drivers, helped us get around on the subway and when we couldn't communicate, would happily get their Chinese to English translator out. They even checked in with us via WhatsAPP to make sure my girls and I made it to our DD after a wild night...

"The hotel is quite tired and in need of some maintenance. Sound proofing from outside noise is good, not so good for between rooms. Having said that the linen and towels were clean and fresh water bottles were provided each day. I would stay there again for the great location and excellent nearby restaurants."

It had an excellent buffet style breakfast with many local and American options. Was extremely affordable. We had breakfast there everyday of our stay. The staff was super friendly and many spoke English.
The only thing which isn’t a deal breaker- the bathroom tub and toilet were a little dated but the rest of the room was excellent and beds were very comfy. "
