"We had a warm welcome on the evening of our arrival and shown to a ground floor room accessible for my mum who has mobility problems and no sight - just as I had requested. It was clean, comfortable and perfectly suited to her needs. The wet room and shower chair was particularly helpful. "Overnight stop on way home from Ireland. City centre pub with pleasant staff. The place needs a refurbishment. In the bar some of the seats are worn and torn. Carpet throughout was showing signs of wear. Food was very good but there was no real ale which for a Marston's pub was sinful "
