"Lovely lively hotel with a Starbucks in the lobby and a sports bar . They had a wedding the night we arrived so it was very busy but we had no noise issues at all on the 2nd floor in the club rooms. Very clean hotel with ample parking. Breakfast was really good and there are lots of restaurants close too. Perfect location with a tram stop close by. My family ( teen children) really enjoyed our stay and will be back 100% ."

"Wasn’t the best stay.. There was dirty marks near on the wall near the top.. The bed so so uncomfortable, both of us woke up with the worst backache.. Need blackout curtains as all night we was constantly woken up by blue flashing lights (and sirens but not anything they can do about the noise).. at least once an hour if not more.. Breakfast was very good.. We just needed somewhere is stay the night because of travel that we was doing and it did what we needed it to do. However if I was going away and looking for somewhere to stay this wouldn’t be the place I would choose."

"Many of the rooms have been renovated, but the hotel appears to be going for a very minimalist approach. Our room had a bed, a slim desk with an office chair, and two small side tables, along with five hangers on a long metal bar and three small hooks for clothing. There was definitely not enough hangers or space for one person’s clothes, let alone for two people staying in the room. The room did include an espresso machine and a water kettle, which we appreciated. The room had a large TV, but even though it was a smart TV, the hotel had disabled access to apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime, which meant we could only watch cable TV rather than log into our own streaming apps. The room also came with an ironing board on the wall, and an iron and small fan that were all placed on the floor in the corner of the room, which made the overall design feel even more awkward and unfinished. There was no mini fridge, no drawers, no dresser, no safe, no phone to call the front desk for service, no bench to sit on while taking your shoes off, no artwork on the walls, and no small dining table with comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or snacks. The washroom also had very limited space for toiletries, especially with no drawers or storage areas available. Overall, the room felt so empty that we immediately noticed it upon entering. Unfortunately, it gave the space an unfinished and somewhat awkward feeling rather than a comfortable or cozy atmosphere."

"Clean room nice bathroom with bath unfortunately water Luke warm had shower instead where it warmed up. Loud noise kept me awake for most of the night, whether pipes water moving. I did mention and told there was no generator in that area. Very noisy thou And very frustrating. Lovely breakfast scrambled eggs on toast was delicious continental available and normal cooked breakfast. Is it value for money. No my choice to book unfortunately will not again due to age related building."

"Grubby exterior. Whole corridor leading to bedroom smelled of smoke (staff/owner/guest clearly smoking in bedroom). Room was clean, with clean bedding & towels, but no soap or shower gel in the bathroom (although a 'welcome gift' on the bed of disposable toothbrush, paste and eye mask). Hotel directly below the flight path approaching Manchester airport so a constant noise of planes all night. Overall, it was a bed for the night, but not somewhere I'll be returning to."
