Ufford Park Woodbridge Hotel, Golf & Spa
4/10 Poor
"This was a short break for My wife and daughter as a treat.
The staff were not engaged at all and the service at breakfast each day was very poor.
They had to ask for bowls for cereal and the pastries had run out mid way through service and had to get more prepared.
Staff were not visible and tables left for long periods of time before eventually being cleared. They seemed very uninterested in making the stay a pleasure for the guests.
The one main dinner they had was adequate but not good.
The swimming pool changing rooms were not clean with toilets out of order and the smell of drains, towels very thin.
No shampoo in the rooms and curtains that didn't drawer easily. Towel rail was stained and looked old. The general condition of the room and hotel in general was poor.
I booked a deluxe room but it didn't look very deluxe.
It seemed like they were constantly penny pinching and suggested the resort is under serious financial pressure.
The mud treatment they booked was not worth it as the mud product was too dry and didn't spread across the skin. Most ended up on the floor as it dropped off.
All in all it was not the treat I hoped to give my wife and daughter and I am disappointed to have used my one key cash on it."

Cosy country cottage with lots of local walks, and short drive into Woodbridge
10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely weekend stay. The cottage itself was beautiful, comfortable, and very well kept (felt like we were in a Nancy Meyers movie).
There were several lovely walks nearby which made it a perfect relaxing getaway. We also visited the local pub and the food was amazing. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and we’d happily come back again."

Seckford Hall Hotel & Spa

Crown and Castle

Country Cottage Set In pretty Suffolk village with 2 local pubs, dog friendly
10/10 Excellent
"Lived up to expectations obtained from reviews. Cosy, comfortable and everything we needed. Friendly welcome and very accommodating. Would be glad to return."

A Spacious, Modern & Contemporary Loft Space
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent property, clean and tidy and very dog friendly. The owner was just lovely and helpful. We had an amazing long weekend and our two small dogs loved it too. There was WiFi but we didn’t want it as we were have a digital detox so it was lovely to just have downtime. Great location and very central. Had lovely trips to Framingham, Sutton Hoo, rendlesham and Tunstall forests. Would go back again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for making us welcome."

Kingfisher Cottage - a perfect place to stay
10/10 Excellent
"Another nice stay, thanks Abi and Ed!"

The Jolly Sailor
8/10 Good
"Comfortable, clean room in a quaint old pub. Food was OK, but pricey. The most disappointing thing, given that the pub is owned by Adnams, was the quality of the beer. I tried all three of their staple brews, all of which I know and like, but they were all flat and lifeless. They were also very expensive given that they were only brewed ‘up the road’!!"

The Station Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"Room immaculate. Well appointed. Breakfast choices varied and well cooked. The Whistle Stop Cafe is below the rooms and the food is excellent. Great atmosphere. Carla and her team are very welcoming and friendly.
I thoroughly recommend a stay at The Station Guest House."
