There was a car park at the rear of the hotel The village was lovely very quiet with some nice walks .We were hoping to use the bus service but it did not go into oxford so we used a park and ride service and visited oxford that way.The staff at the hotel were really nice pleasant and helpful"

"The Railway Inn is a small hotel, over a pub that closes reasonably early and literally next to the train lines. The barkeep is also the hotel staff and the breakfast cook. She is terrific and lively. My room was on the second floor - spacious with two excellent twin beds, comfortable bedding and kettle, cookies, etc. They would like entry by 22.00 which I did not see in the ad, so I arrived later and she directed me to reach my room, which she had left open. The breakfast is cooked to order and both tasty and generous. Expedia say 6 miles from Oxford city centre. Close to 20 miles... but otherwise an excellent place to stay overnight."

The hosts were friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my visit.The property is in a lovely area, and being within easy walking distance of the train station was a real bonus, making it convenient to get around.I really appreciated the warm hospitality and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!"
