"Nice hotel. Clean, large rooms. Slept great. I would stay here again. Our check-in was noticeably slow. Our reservation was for one night only; we left in the morning before the required checkout time. My niece was in the room next to us. Later that day, we were out shopping and both of us received a call from the hotel asking if we had left. ? We (both) told them our reservation was for one night only. The attendant thanked us and hung up. I’ve since checked my card, only one night was charged. I’m wondering if the front desk got confused or something……"

"For the price, and what you get, the hotel wasn’t terrible. The public areas were clean and the staff was helpful and nice. The rooms do have kitchenettes in them, but we stayed only overnight, so did not use any of it. The room was adequately clean- could things have been a bit nicer- sure.. but I didn’t feel scared to touch or sit down. The bathroom did have a lot of water damage near the shower and possibly mold, but it looks like the hotel is actively making repairs so I can only hope that this will be something included. Overall, there is literally 0 bells and whistles with this hotel, but you cannot beat the price and location. One of our better stays in Winston Salem, and we have stayed at least 5 other times over the past couple years."

"I have stayed here before without any troubles. But, this was an important trip and I booked it two months in advance. The check in process took 45 minutes. The guy checking us in (Chris) gets five stars, but the management of this hotel gets NEGATIVE stars. He spent his time with the supervisor arguing to find us a room. The hotel was overbooked and he was told to tell us to find a different hotel. He argued with the boss to get one cleaned for us to use. Management does not know what “reservation” means. I was grateful that Chris was able to get us in. The manager needs to know that we will not be staying there again. You overbooked yourself out of a customer that pays two months in advance."
