The apartment was very neat, I got immediate response when I had issues. I will always recommend for family and friends.

It was pretty good but not perfect

First let me say it was clean and owner was good at communicating. Now lets get into minor issues: if 3 adults are staying there and you are providing towels you shoukd have 3 not 2. Place settings , this property says it is for 4, we had 3. Cutlery, plates and such were at most 2, bowls 1. You have a microwave but your plates and bowls have a metal ring on them not goid to use in microwave.Never did i have issues with noise in the middle of the night, during the day and evening it could be a bit noisy but its a basement so that is to be expected. I would say a door at the bottom of the stairs would alleviate much of that. Like i said most of these things were minor

Okay but could be better

The key pad and exterior door to the suite need to work better. When I first arrived at this VRBO, I tried 10 times to get in and failed, with my sister as witness. Since no one was there when I first arrived we had to drive away and come back later, resulting in a big inconvenience and a waste of gasoline. The instructions to open this door were weak and needed to be improved. The better idea is to make sure that door is easy to open and completely reliable, assuming these hosts are serious about running a reliable VRBO and not one that looks poorly cobbled together. Also, the exterior of the property near the VRBO entrance was littered with old newspapers when I first arrived. I am aware that the next door neighbors were responsible for this mess, but it doesn't matter. If you want to create a welcoming VRBO, clean it up yourselves when you are expecting guests. The sight I arrived to did not make the property look welcoming! The step from ground level up to the door is comprised of loosely stacked cement sidewalk slabs that need to cemented in place. They are wobbly, and a VRBO guest could easily turn an ankle. I found the suite too cold and did not find a thermostat to adjust the temperature. The suite itself is nice. It's clean and comfortable, the bed especially so. There's significant noise transmission from the upper floors where the hosts live through the VRBO ceiling. There should be quiet time after 10 PM. Overall, this VRBO needs improvement.
