Howarth Cottage is nestling in a row of similar stone built and slated Lakeland cottages, tucked away in a quiet backwater with all the delights of a well equipped, comfortable and cosy holiday retreat. There is an entrance porch which is handy for walking gear, and the living room has a gas fire, three piece suite and a parquet floor. This traditional terraced cottage is a perfect base from which to explore the Lake District National Park. After a hard day on the fells you will long to return to the well maintained and cared for ’home from home’. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Well equipped and comfortable cosy cottage with convenient parking.

Well equipped and comfortable cosy cottage with convenient parking. Only downside was the problem to lock and unlock the front door which was a bit frustrating.
