"I had a blissful 7 days stay at Litet Hem. It is a beautifully designed and finished Shepherds Hut, fabulously maintained, stocked and positioned. The plot of land overlooks a field with wildlife (hares, deer, birds) and it is surrounded by a recently planted garden and courtyard. No one overlooking, it felt very private. "A lovely cottage with history and character. As mentioned in the listings it would not be suitable for someone very tall or with difficulties. Facilities are excellent everything you need supplied. Parking is free but beware spaces can be all taken - it states 23 hours stay - no return for an hour, so be aware there is a car park attendant around! Cottage is within easy reach of the town and Abbey. A lovely stay"

"Cottage clean and tidy on arrival, with milk, eggs, and even Easter eggs left for us! The cottage was as described, lovely little place, good sized bathroom, and bedroom, and combined lounge/kitchen area. Dog towels and treats were supplied by our host, Trisha, who was most helpful and friendly, and there was an enclosed area for exercising dogs, which was very useful. "Wonderful stay at Stanton Manor, management and staff were very attentive, excellent service, rooms were spacious and clean, dined in the restaurant and the food was excellent this was also the case with the breakfast which offered a very good choice. The bar area offered a homely feel and a good selection of beers wines and spirits. Stanton Manor offered plenty of parking, attached to the hotel to the rear is some seating areas giving views over the very large well maintained garden "

"I had a very large quiet room at the side of the building on the first floor. Number 9. The bed was wonderful , comfortable with good pillows. The building itself is an historical gem. The furnishings and renovated bathroom are top notch. Breakfast was included, There could be a bit more choice but adequate. Location for the Cathedral opposite couldn’t be more perfect. A great team at The Chapter house. Thank you . "

All the people that work there are lovely, the room was excellent, and the good reasonably priced and very nice. Salisbury isn't too far from us, and since we enjoy the antique shops, I can see us staying here again."
