"Great stay in downtown Portland!!"

"The room was clean and comfortable but showing some wear. We had to get maintenance (which was sent up immediately) to reattach our toilet seat. I was surprised after walking around the building that there was no outdoor seating to relax in except for a couple of tables and chairs by the entrance. The pool area smelled so strongly of chlorine that we decided not to use. Treadmill was broken in the exercise room. Small things but added together left a “meh”impression."

"Always a pleasure staying at Hotel Lucia. Thank you for the upgrade, top floor like staying in a penthouse. Happy hour had complimentary rootbeer, and of course pinball. Most importantly, While checking out I had a mishap, and had to go to the hospital and the night crew went above and beyond to help me. Not to go into details, but I greatly greatly appreciate the care and concern of the staff. When something like this happens, it really demonstrates how excellent staff are I cannot express my gratitude enough. Looking forward to my next adventure at the Hotel Lucia, without the misadventure."
