I booked to stay last night through the internet and paid for it only to be told they were full and couldn’t accept me. This was at eight in the evening and made it very difficult for me. I am awaiting a refund promised to me. I definitely wouldn’t recomendo this property

Very bad. Picture of outside of house is misleading. Room was very small for four people (hardly any room for our bags). Property was in very bad/old condition. Furniture, including beds, was of cheap and poor quality. Shared bathrooms were in very poor condition. No one in our family even wanted to shower there. Don't think other guests showered there either. Door knobs were old and difficult to open...I could go on...owner needs to invest in some renos big time.

Quand nous sommes arrivés après un grand moment d'attente que notre hôte nous reçoive on découvre que notre logement est déjà occupé. Nous avons du rester ferme pour que le problème soit résolu. Notre hôte nous a envoyé chez un autre logeur sympathique, la chambre était modeste mais confortable.

The room in which we stayed housed comfortable beds for myself and my four grandchildren. The amenities available for our use were exemplary. We slept well, enjoyed a leisurely breakfast, and left for the next leg of our journey with our clothes washed and dried. The owners of this house were very kind and polite to us.

I must say it’s much easier to write a good feedback to a host, and this is the first time I have to write a bad one.... But where do I start? Ok ,we booked our Queens Birthday Weekend stay for 3 families reunion about 10 days ago and received their confirmation letter and a welcome text. And when 12 people turned up in front of the door on the day- they have the house booked to other groups! We asked the host to help us find a alternative option to accommodate 12 people- we certainly got a lot of ‘ Sorry’, but they did not really want to help. We had to drive around the town and in the end found a motel to stay, but had to stay 2 separate rooms- Kids were disappointed with no play as promised....

Convenient to downtown & restaurants (15-20 minute walk). Large communal kitchen with plenty of pots/pans/utensils/dishes. Pleasant common living room. Washer and dryer for us to use. Host and staff were very responsive. I suspect I had not read the description carefully enough; I didn't realize it was a shared bathroom space; we usually prefer to book private bathroom. Also the beds were a bit soft by my standards, may be fine for others.

Die Unterkunft ist an und für sich gut. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich Supermärkte, Tankstellen und Gaststätten. Was schlecht war: die Kommunikation. Obwohl ich angegeben habe, wann ich vor Ort sein werde war niemand da. Der Schlüssel wurde in einer Lockbox hinterlegt, allerdings hatte ich dafür keinen Code erhalten. Deshalb musste ich telefonisch nachfragen und die Kommunikation war nicht einfach. Bis auf den umständlichen Check-In insgesamt eine gute Übernachtung.

We had a lovely overnight stay, the villa had a very homely feel to it, our room was perfect, our beds very comfortable, the shared facilities was no problem, very clean, two supermarkets next door and across the road, credit to the owners of the villa....we will recommend this place to friends and family ..Regards carol,Sarah and Anne 😄

Nettes Haus, freundliches Personal

Sehr netter Empfang uns wurde alles gezeigt und erklärt. Die Bahnschienen in der Nähe hatten mich zuerst abgeschreckt aber es fährt nur 1 bis 2 Mal am Tag ein Zug, was uns dann überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Die Wohnung in der wir das Zimmer hatten war sehr sauber, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gibt für alle 2 Toiletten und zwei Extraräume mit Duschmöglichkeit. Wir würden wieder dort Übernachten. Nebenan und gegenüber sind Supermärkte, was will man mehr. Wir hatten allerdings das Glück allein in der Wohnung zu sein, die anderen Zimmer waren nicht belegt.
