"The hotel is big, convenient and has amenities. However, the property is very dated."

"The warmth of the room was great, the kids enjoyed the swimming pool and staff service was excellent. Service is key here at Ripple Rotorua and we’re returning back for future holidays…Thank you."

"Basic room but sufficed, staff very congenial and helpful."

"Everything was neat & clean, heated pool was awesome and Sulfur room provided private space at no extra cost. Staff at reception ( think his name was Nirotam) was polite and efficient. Property feels tired and parking space was tricky but overall great value for money."

"Dave and Shami are wonderful hosts at this bed and breakfast in a quiet neighborhood in the hills above Rotorua. Delicious breakfast too!"

"Was an amazing stay , absolutely loved it here. Will be definitely making this a regular stop! Loved the privacy, the view, the layout. Everything."

"I did not like there was no actual kitchen or dining space. Did not stay for the full length paid for id like some sort of reimbursement. This wasa"

"good location for work team"

"The place wasnt refreshed for our stay. Dust inside all the cups and on the tables etc. A dead roch sitting in the container that held the tea n sugar. Need to supply 2 more towels as there was 2 people staying 2 nights and we only had 2 towels. Lawns were unkept. Theres a tin shed ryt out where the bed is. It was scratching n banging up on the wall and keeps you from falling into deep sleep. The blue pillow cases had dribble stains on the fabric. If these details where more tended to it would...

"We were so disappointed with so many things, it wasn't stated on the listing that the accommodation was attached to a main house. It wasn't stated that there was no kitchenette. The space could be booked for up to 6 adults. We booked for 5. I would think 3-4 maximum in this space! There was two double beds and we had the option to request an extra single bed for the 5th person which was a stretcher and thin foam, squeezed next another bed so nobody could walk around. There was no curtain above...

"Spacious accommodation with lovely outside seating area "

"Excellent house, the grounds where amazing, on the lake, quiet, what a wonderful house!"

"Property had several issues. Seems like it was a garage converted to an holiday rental. Several small holes in walls and large holes in doors (doors had been patched but very rough!). Carpet squares on the floor sitting on top of very old stained carpet but squares loose and not fitting together. No hotplate for cooking. 4x flat bowls 4x small bowls 4x knives, forks and spoons, but no teaspoons. 2 x serrated steak knives but no other cooking utensils or dishes. No tea towels or dish washing...

"House was a great size for 3 families and location on the lake, Perfect! Close to all the sights! A few essentials missing in the house but the stores near by for peeler, greater, dish clothes, broom.Fabulous place to stay!!!"
