"If you want a bit of Cornish history this is the place to stay. Don’t expect 5* luxury, however, the beds were comfortable and self service breakfast was included. The restaurant wasn’t open but the food at a neighbouring pub was good. There was a well stocked bar and games were available to use whilst enjoying a drink. Our impromptu arrival didn’t phase Simon, our host. Would stay here again."

"A lovely find hidden away off the main street. We only booked the room an hour before arriving but were made to feel very welcome by the young lady behind the bar. Breakfast was cooked by Phil and was delicious and he came out and had a lovely chat with us. I would highly recommend. "
