Book a Wellsford Cottage

Stayed 2 nights at the place with 2 children. Place was nice and cosy with breath- taking views. I was surprised that the kitchen was complete- had portable electric stove top, portable electric non- stick frying pan, toaster, kettle and all other utensils. Thus, managed to cook some decent meals. Bed was comfortable with all sorts of pillows (ranging from soft to firm). There was also a spa/ jacuzzi pool nearby which my kids enjoyed it very much. Staff was very kind and friendly. It's about...

Facilities: Top of the line; Value: Great deal; Service: Phenomenal; Cleanliness: Gleaming; awesome place go relish a little luxury with fabulous hosts.

Beautiful location with lovely views. Our bach was spacious and well equipped and easily accessible for someone with a walker.

Great place to stay while visiting Matakana. 10/10 would stay again.

Not much on-site parking. Had to park on the road. Didn’t feel safe going to the car at night, being out on the road.

We spent tbe night at Tahi Lodge with our grandchildren and I can't praise it enough. Great facilities fantastic location and the sun shone.

Stunning location, clean and beautiful glamping tent.

I liked how close the property was to the intercity bus stop, supermarket, restaurants and library. All within walking distance. The view from the front rooms of the lodge were great with the bridge and waterfall. It was very clean and tidy. My room would easily fit three guests.

I will be coming back, beautiful rooms.

Very convenient and great staff. Good pub atmosphere

Back in 1975 we'd honeymooned at Mansion House when there were motel units on the grounds. Must have set us off on the right track, cos here we are back on the island again for some quiet together time.

Facilities: Above average; Value: Economical; Service: Outstanding; Cleanliness: Spotless; Lovely place - good location, easy walk to town

Pity about the welcome we received, which was very off hand. Rest of stay they were pleasant. First impressions count though. Lovely quiet relaxing stay.
