Book a Te Hana Cottage

Stayed 2 nights at the place with 2 children. Place was nice and cosy with breath- taking views. I was surprised that the kitchen was complete- had portable electric stove top, portable electric non- stick frying pan, toaster, kettle and all other utensils. Thus, managed to cook some decent meals. Bed was comfortable with all sorts of pillows (ranging from soft to firm). There was also a spa/ jacuzzi pool nearby which my kids enjoyed it very much. Beautiful location with lovely views. Our bach was spacious and well equipped and easily accessible for someone with a walker.

We spent tbe night at Tahi Lodge with our grandchildren and I can't praise it enough. Great facilities fantastic location and the sun shone.

Not much on-site parking. Had to park on the road. Didn’t feel safe going to the car at night, being out on the road.

I liked how close the property was to the intercity bus stop, supermarket, restaurants and library. All within walking distance. The view from the front rooms of the lodge were great with the bridge and waterfall. It was very clean and tidy. My room would easily fit three guests.

Pity about the welcome we received, which was very off hand. Rest of stay they were pleasant. First impressions count though. Lovely quiet relaxing stay.
