"From the moment we arrived, it was a welcoming, friendly environment! We toured the Inn, which is beautiful and clean. There were delicious cookies in the dining room. The room was clean. The historic vibes were amazing. The bathroom was clean. It is in the perfect location. You just walk outside, and you are on the main street, yet it's still very quiet at night. Parking was easy. The courtyard out back is well-maintained and a nice place to relax at the end of the day. Breakfast was delicious. Everyone was extremely friendly! I cannot recommend this place anymore!"

"Check in was quick and easy. The room was decent, the fridge and microwave worked, no obvious issues. When I checked in the fire alarm was chirping, but as soon as i informed the front desk he sent someone up to change the battery. Good place."

"We had a great stay at this property! Even though we were only there for the weekend, we really enjoyed our time. The house itself is beautiful, and the pool and outdoor jacuzzi were definitely highlights, we especially loved relaxing in the jacuzzi.The host was very accommodating, helpful, and quick to respond whenever we had questions. We did run into a small issue with the door lock not working, but he fixed it immediately, which we really appreciated.Overall, a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend staying here! We are definitely coming back. Thanks for a great weekend! "

"The sun room is the entryway and is up a few (5?) steps from the driveway. The open kitchen, dinning and family is roomy for 4 people. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are just off of the kitchen ares. The spacious master suite is up a long flight of stairs. It features a king-sized bed, a walk - in shower. Lots of power and usb outlets, a stunning view of the Potomac River. Also available through the master bedroom is the Laundry Room that has massive washer and dryer.The kitchen has a Keurig 2.0 Coffee pot, The host has provided a selection of K-pods from Food Lion. The refrigerator is a full-sized LG. The range/oven is gas. There is a microwave oven.It is a bit of a drive (25 minutes) from Fredericksburg, but to get away from the hourly-burly of the Washington DC area is a just tradeoff. WMATA and VRE stops are an hour away at Huntington or Franconia stations.Overall it was comfortable, restful, clean and gave us access to Monticello and to DC. A great VRBO."

"This property was exactly as described. It is a wonderful getaway and is truly charming. Great location. Wonderful surroundings! The lights around the property at night are so beautiful. The owner is absolutely delightful and was very helpful. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to booking again in the future! "
