Great location, right on the water and walking distance to restaurants or take a short drive to the local tiki bar which has great food and music. Staff was great, let us check in early and the pool was large, as well as clean.

The room was clean and presented as advertised. Parking was really good and the pool was clean and well maintained. Continental breakfast was basic, no eggs or meat just fruit, cereals, coffee, juices, milk, waffles and bread products. Bathrooms had no grab bars or high rise toilets but facilities presented were in good working order. Large selection of TV channels. WiFi could use some upgrade but worked. All together, I would return again for another stay.

The best part about this hotel is the location, it is right on the beach and it is the perfect place to be if you want to be able to see the sunrise on the Potomac. The rooms were OK. It was definitely outdated and I would say the rooms were mostly clean. I would say it was a classic old school inn experience. if you’re looking for a place to stay for one or two nights max on the beach and you’re OK with a very basic room and amenities option. This is a good option for you.

The room my friend and I stayed in was really nice, clean and updated, parking was no problem, a/c worked great. We had everything we needed for the weekend. The 2 rooms on the end gives u somewhat of a nice view of the ocean (200 & 201) The pool was great and enjoyed meeting a lot of people that were staying at the hotel, at the pool. The front desk staff and I am assuming was the owners were awesome, very accommodating, friendly, made sure u were taken care of immediately if there was a need. I would recommend staying here with your visit to Colinial Beach.

Steps to the beach need a handrail and also the steps to the pool need one. A couple people with us had difficulty maneuvering the steps and had to have help. There was a lot of condensation on the floor and furniture in our room unless the air conditioner was chilly. If it was turned to a warmer temperature the condensation would start. The staff was friendly and for the most part our stay was good. I would stay here again.

Nice stay, clean hotel, friendly staff, easy access to the beach and nice pool. Could use a couple more umbrellas poolside. Bed pillows not great. Very lumpy so bring your own. Preference was to stay on the second floor, not the first floor with the doors out to parking lot. Breakfast is basic bagels, waffles, toast, muffins, yogurt and cereal. Kids really loved the waffles.

My wife and I enjoyed our weekend stay. The hotel is in the process of upgrading the rooms and while the furniture was dated and the bathrooms were not upgraded yet, the property is moving in the right direction. The staff was helpful and accommodated our request for a desired room location. Excellent location in walking distance to the beach and local food spots. We would stay here again.

Just know you're paying solely for the proximity to the beach, and can walk to restaurants. The hotel itself is nothing special at all, but clean enough and safe. It was not built broadside to the water so it's a missed opportunity to have a real water view or sunrise. You're overpaying for the hotel itself which is basic but they don't have many competitors (one) in town.
