"This hotel is amazing. The grounds are so nice. It’s a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. It’s more affordable than other places that are outdated and offer less. The room was spacious, the bathroom was nice, and I even had a deck. I like how there’s a lot to do; basketball court, tennis court, pool, golf course, and spa (closed when I was there, but hopefully next time). The bed was comfortable. The only room for improvement is the pillows. I couldn’t sleep on it because it would flatten like a pancake so had to use sweatshirts for my pillow. Other than that this hotel was perfect!"

"Stayed in one of the tiny houses. It was the cutest place and comfy too. It seemed very clean and the staff in the check-in/store area were very kind."

"This was a wonderful property for our family. We enjoyed going to the pool a couple times. We forgot some items like plastic toddler plates, bowls and utensils. However, the place was fully stocked and had them for us which was great! We would stay here again but not during a heat advisory. Minor discrepancy in the paperwork advised that the pool opened at 8am. It opens at 9am."

"Stayed here for our 16 year anniversary. I loved how spacious the house was. The beautiful view of the river from the deck and the hot tub was nice too! I loved the retro vibe with old style radio and awesome record collection. Enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack chairs over looking the river. We would love to come back to stay again in the future."

"We loved our stay here. The cabin had so much charm. It is 100yrs old so you don't often see places like this with such character. The owners you can see are actively updating but also keeping it feeling like home. The area was perfect for hiking, dining, seeing the mountain, and exploring. The only downside was we wished we had more time here! We loved our stay and hope to come back again. "

"This house has it all. From the deck that overlooks the Salem River, to every utensil you could need for cooking, and they even put glasses in the freezer, which made for a very nice cold drink. There was even a hammock stand, with the hammock in the garage for use. We unfortunately didn't utilize this trip, but maybe next time. Love this place. "
