The pictures in the listing don't do the property justice. The views of the river, the trees and ferns were beautiful. The path to the river felt safe. The furnishings that were chosen created a tasteful and peaceful environment. Sitting in the hot tub and feeling the mist from the falling rain was great. Only downside was the internet was not working for the first day and a half, but it was beyond the control of the hosts. In some ways it was a blessing because it forced us offline and allowed us to enjoy the old school albums on the stereo as we sat in hot tub. I felt the nightly rate was fair for what you get, but the fees are exorbitant, but I guess that's how Vrbo rolls.

Loved the scenic river and coziness of the house. Wood fireplace kept us warm and relaxed. Comfortable beds and nice showers. Kitchen was a bit small. Great location near Zigzags - best pizza ever.

This spacious cabin is nestled in the woods along Sandy River. It is well equipped, comfortable, and has a great deck for relaxing and taking in the view. The kitchen has everything you need to fix simple meals and the beds are SO COMFORTABLE. It was just my husband and I this trip, but this would be a great place for a family gathering.

Stayed here for our 16 year anniversary. I loved how spacious the house was. The beautiful view of the river from the deck and the hot tub was nice too! I loved the retro vibe with old style radio and awesome record collection. Enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack chairs over looking the river. We would love to come back to stay again in the future.

After Christmas family stay

What an amazing home! We truely enjoyed our time lounging, playing Uno, puzzling, and hot tubbing. The rooms were perfect! The kids were able to game downstairs while we watched TV upstairs. Thank you for a great trip. We would love to come back & enjoy the house during the summer.

Understated Getaway

The pictures do not do this property justice. Our stay was only for a couple of nights, but for a couples getaway you will be hard pressed to find a more relaxing atmosphere. The conveniences of life are within a few miles and the serenity of the forest and river while sitting in a hot tub are a wonderful reset from the busyness of life. Again, I cannot impress how relaxing this cabin is and will recommend to friends and family to make this a destination must.

This is a wonderful property. Its much larger than the pictures show, very clean and very well stocked. Beds and linens were top rate. We really enjoyed the turn table and large collection of old records. The weather was terrible, but we'd love to come back in the summer when we can enjoy the beautiful river front property. property!

The listing had me at riverfront, but it was so much more than that. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We loved the hot tub (sorry we used so many towels!) The river is beautiful, with many chairs to relax in. We regretted that there was an outdoor fire ban during our stay.Toasted marshmallows and a fire would've been great. But, I went to sleep every night to the sound of the river through the open window.Many thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Gorgeous Property for a relaxing getaway

The pictures don't do this property any justice. Upon walking in the front door, I was hit with how spacious the cabin is. It was just the two of us, so we didn't use the second bedroom or downstairs, but it could easily accommodate a large group. It was clean, well decorated, and incredibly inviting. The hot tub on the back deck overlooks the river making for a relaxing treat after hiking all day. And the neighbors are far enough away that it feels somewhat private. I can't think of anything that this property was missing. It exceeded our expectations and made for a comfortable trip. This will definitely be our go to rental when staying in the Mr Hood area.

I almost don’t wanna give away the amazing secret that is this cabin - it’s so beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. And the view!! That was by far our favorite part - the beautiful view of the woods and river from the big windows. And the cabin itself is bigger than the pictures make it look. We had a family dinner 2 nights and were able to cook - the kitchen had everything we needed. And the hot tub was an added bonus! There were even board games & puzzles for both kids and adults. Our kids had so much fun in the downstairs bonus room - the bund beds are so cute. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. Great location close to Mt Hood & Trillium Lake. Thank you so much!
