"I was very pleased with the property. Slight problem with curtain hook missing. Ice bags ran out by noon. I would like the statement the facility is extremely dog friendly. I encountered an aggressive dog in the stairwell. Agree not the dogs fault but perhaps dogs have their own stairwell."

Rustic lodge with private hot tub, fireplace & riverfront views - dog-friendly

10/10 Excellent
"The rustic cabin was the perfect vacation spot in Rhododendron for our family of five. It’s close to exceptional hiking trails and idyllically situated in the woods with a rushing stream in the backyard that’s lovelier than the pictures capture! The cabin itself is clean with a well stocked kitchen for real cooking, a large table to eat together, games to play, and comfy furniture for the crew to relax in at the end of the day after hot tubbing. It was exactly what we wanted and more; we hope to return in the future! The host was super friendly, proactive in providing necessary rental information, and quick and responsive to all questions asked. I only caution future renters to consider purchasing the rental insurance for the summer months. -Just before we arrived the local govt issued a level 1 evacuation order in Rhododendron because of the Grasshopper fires. Given that was a safety issue outside our control, I inquired about cancelling if that order were to continue on our dates. The host responded that they heard my concerns, but we would lose all our money without the insurance and per the rental agreement. Fortunately for us, by the time we arrived the order had been lifted and there was no need to reconsider our plans at a big financial loss. I’m sharing because I would hate for others to naively end up in that situation."
