"The location was great! Close to all major attractions, Anne Frank house, museums, etc. Even though you are right in the city, the location is very quiet at night. Only caution I would provide is regarding steep staircases to second and 3rd floor which given the age of the building, I'd consider the norm. However, if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. The staff was super responsive and communicated via text promptly."

"This was a very nice place to stay in the outer Jordaan neighborhood of Amsterdam. The room was very comfortable and clean with in-room amenities such as a Nespresso machine, wi-fi, good local restaurant recommendations, and comfortable floor heating. It was very quiet with a comfortable bed. The full-size bathroom was nicely remodeled with a large shower. The owners had great communication via Whats App and greeted us on arrival. Recommended!"

"Love the outdoor space! Room had everything we needed. Staff were responsive and flexible. Kitchen space was nice to have as well. Only thing was the stairs are steep and it’s on the third floor. Not great if you are a heavy packer. Location was amazing and the room was surprisingly quiet at night."

"This is a reasonably nice B&B in a residential area not too far from the train station. Host shared check-in information and greeted us when we arrived. Dining and shopping options are nearby. The breakfast is at a little cafe nearby. While we enjoyed the stay the wood floors are a bit creaky and some rugs might help. Also, while the breakfast was very good and plentiful (boiled egg, juice, coffee, yogurt and croissant) as we stayed 5 nights it would be nice if some variation was offered."

"Hotel Malts is a charming little place with a wonderful host couple! They were welcoming when we arrived at 10 am and gave us coffee and a map to go out and explore the many shops and museums a short walk from the place. Additionally they prepare a lovely breakfast and the rooms are large and well appointed for the area."
