"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hofsgrund. The apartment was very clean and cozy. Our hosts were very accommodating and answered questions about what we could do in the area. We really liked the trails that could be accessed just up the road. They offered awesome views of the town and surrounding area. An evening hike to Schauinsland is a must for a beautiful view of sunset! The baker is right nextdoor, a good restaurant a 3 minute walk across the street, and a bus stop just outside. The town and surrounding area are lovely; we would recommend a stay. "

"We enjoyed our stay, the cabin worked well for our group and was a central point for visits to Lincoln Forest hiking trails, White Sands, Valley of Fires, and the Space Museum in Alamogordo. Kitchen had all we needed to make most of our meals. The front porch was great in the mornings and the hummingbird traffic was crazy busy. Grandkids were delighted to see wild horses and elk in the neighborhood. My granddaughter tells me to include her review - she loved it! "
