Took a 90 minute stroll down to Tintern Abbey via the lane opposite the Sloop and saw lots of other walking routes along the way. "Lovely accommodation, clean, modern, pretty and spacious garden, safe off road parking. 3 very comfy bedrooms, nice living room with dining table. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine. The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. It wouldn't put us off staying here again. The location of cottage is close to many lovely attractions including Forest of Dean, Clearwell Caves and Puzzle Wood."

"Stayed 1 night at the Royal Hotel. Very convenient location just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Ross on Wye. Lovely hotel with easy check in. We had a spacious double room which was clean and had all the amenities you needed. The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Nice bar area and the food is very good( superb breakfast) Highly recommend this hotel. "

    "2nd stay at this amazing place ( and 3rd one booked for next year!)Beautiful home in amazing location. So quiet and views are amazing.Within easy reach of lots of places to eat and visit. If you get the chance, go to Cardiff (about 45 mins away)to the indoor market and get some of their freshly made hot welsh teacakes...out of this world!!Hot tub lovely addition and home has everything you need for a fantastic stay.Strongly recommend this place!
