"Not ideal, check into the room and there is a large smeared dead bug on the pillow, okay it happens. Then head to the restroom, no TP. No extra TP either. Hmm. Okay, Back to the bed and sit down and observe a bunch of boogers on the wall...and the side of the bed has dirty bodily fluids on it.. Everywhere I looked was frankly so dirty I couldn't comfortably lay down in here. Cut fingernails too...YUCK! Went to front desk and brought it to their attention and asked for a refund because I was pretty disgusted. Told not an often they don't offer refunds "its against policy". Asked to show us to another room so we agreed. The other room was slightly cleaner but by no means "clean" by average standards. Usually can count on a Travelodge for a clean, basic room but this fell REALLY short. Not recommended and I have a lot of travel experience- this isn't the place to book at."

"Sent my relatives there as part of some traveling they were doing and they said the food for breakfast was very good and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They enjoyed their stay a lot."

"Always a joy to stay at the Americana Modern. This was our 4th stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern and tasteful. Area around hotel has a lot to do."

"All was wonderful but the star of the show was Bonnie! She was the clerk on duty when we arrived. She saw I was towing a vehicle and came running out for suggestions for efficient parking as she had a full house this night. My hubby then came with a 29’ U-Haul to which she found a safe and large enough space. She even knew she had 14 more guests to check in still and was going to move her personal car to the street to help out. She should be in management or a trainer as her customer service, care for her guests and knowledge of her hotel surpassed any customer service I have experienced."

"Parking easy and seemed safe. AC effective but loud. Room big and clean. TV didn't work until we fixed it. Coffee poor. No breakfast offered. I rated it at 3 but was more like a 3.5"
