"When I arrived in Newquay I was confronted with Road Works directly outside the Hotel and was forced to make a 3 mile detour just to get to the Hotels front door, I know this is not the Hotels fault but I did find it frustrating. The receptionist was helpful and made me feel welcome, which, in my opinion, is very important. My room was on the second floor and overlooked the afore mentioned Road Works but this did not have any real affect on my stay as there seemed to be nobody working on site. The room facilities were good, with light refreshments available and these were topped up daily. The room was cleaned daily and the bed was remade every day. The bar/restaurant was extremely pleasant, service was efficient and the staff were polite, helpful and respectful. All in all a very pleasant stay and very good value for money and I would be quite happy in recommending this hotel."

"Elaine’s property is well appointed in an area of Newquay that is stunning. It offers a cozy and very clean and thoughtful retreat for a small group or family. All the basics are there. Right across the street are beautiful beaches, cliffside walks and just down and up the hill are two lovely restaurants. The only downside is without a car, transportation around the area is challenging. But our stay was delightful."

"A lovely property, simple process for checking in and out, great location making it easy to visit everywhere we wanted to go. Only disadvantage was a smaller bed than am used to, doesn’t help that I am a tall person used to a super king size, so a bit of a squeeze when the dogs decided to join during the night . Would most definitely recommend and would visit again"

"Beautiful cottage in a very quiet, rural area. The cottage is set in a courtyard and our holiday neighbours were lovely. It is very doggy friendly but just a heads up, it hasn’t got an enclosed area so puppers will need to be on lead when not in the cottage…2 mins drive to Porth beach and the mermaid pub…a great location to tour Cornwall. The courtyard area was surrounded by holiday cottages but everyone was quiet and respectful. All information before the trip was easy to digest and getting to and into the cottages was quick and easy. Plenty of parking at the rear. Beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Note: there are some tea, coffee and milk sachets bout you may need to bring your own. Would definitely stay again."
