"Great location - quick and easy to access Lusty Glaze and Porth beaches by foot although the steps down to Porth from the headland by the property are no longer accessible due to the formal Glendorgal hotel now being a building site and fenced off. Having a parking space between the two beaches in high season was a definite bonus!The property was very comfortable and deceptively spacious. The bedrooms downstairs meant that they stayed relatively cool on the hot days and it was easy to get a breeze through the upstairs living area with doors at both ends."

"For the price 1 paid for a 1 night stay in August I was pleasantly surprised my room was spotless The lady on reception was very helpful with my enquiry’s. The only thing I didn’t like was My room overlooked a small patio area, which could do with a tidy up"

"We stayed in the game room as a family of two adults and two children. Great location. Walking distance to the town and loads of beaches. Cindy is such a friendly, warm, kind lovely lady! And Ashley was just as friendly. The room was tidy and clean, there were shower gel/shampoos/towels and tea/coffee and snacks there on arrival. My daughters loved the pool table in the room and we had fun. We had breakfast two mornings and the food was lovely. Lots to choose from and was cooked beautifully. And the take away scones and jam and cream were delicious. It’s a very pretty house and I would come back again and I’m already looking at dates!"

"St Michael’s was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is fantastic, an easy walk to both Lusty Glaze and Porth beaches, so we could pick whichever one suited our mood without any hassle over parking. Porth’s calm, sandy stretch was great for early morning dog walks, while Lusty Glaze’s cove setting made for a lovely change of pace in the afternoons and evenings. We’d recommend sitting and watching the sunset!Despite being so close to the beaches, the property itself felt wonderfully quiet and tucked away, a real haven to come back to after a day out, with none of the noise or bustle you sometimes get in busier parts of Newquay.What really stood out, though, was the host’s attention to detail. Every little touch had clearly been thought through, from the way the property was set up to the small extras that made settling in effortless. It’s obvious a lot of care goes into making guests feel comfortable.We’d happily stay at St Michael’s again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful base within easy reach of Newquay’s beaches."

"Room was adequate and clean with a quirkie toilet under the stairs behind the door inside the room that I hadn’t noticed. Sarah is lovey, friendly and a really lovely host, however should be a little more direct and forceful of her rules ( ie check out times and parking). Parking is not the best as when full at least 2 cars will be blocked in completely - and annoyingly she kept trying to encourage me to park round the corner on the road- which I did not want to do ( hence booking a b&b with car parking ). I was going to take my dog, however it was too hot so left her at home but would not have been a problem here. I would recommend this b&b although please ensure your parking and also it is a 15 min walk to town and 40 mins walk to fistral beach xx. Not a bad review just my opinion. Thank you sarah I enjoyed my stay ."
