"This is an amazing property and so close to everything. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. The staff were very helpful and made our daughter feel special on her birthday. Would have loved for there to be a fridge and iron in the room. Apparently thrives in hotel rooms aren’t a thing here. But apart from that happy to recommend this hotel!"

"We have stayed at The Standard many times. This trip was an anniversary get. way. The staff are all wonderful, every person you meet is friendly and professional. We had a small problem and the duty manager Sanya went above and beyond to fix it. There can always be issues but it's how the hotel deals with it that makes a difference. The Standard is a very cool, very clean and wonderfully located hotel. There are hundreds of things to do on your doorstep. Will definitely return"
