"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"The Waipoua Lake House worked well for us and 2 young adult children. The bach was comfortable and well equipped, there was also plenty of room for bikes & cars. Communication with Grant was prompt and friendly."

"Spa pool Grotty and green. Both filters blocked and yuck. Had to drain it and get in touch with property manager to access woodshed for spa chemicals. Weeds growing everywhere & yard very untidy. Windows filthy throughout the house. Beautiful location, loved the house… just disappointed we couldn’t use the spa as advertised and for the price we expected a clean and tidy property. "
