"We stayed one night as we traveled. It was very quiet and the
pool
was nice on the hot July day. Hawthorn is a very small quiet town. There was not many choices for dinning. There was a restaurant in the casino however we chose not to visit it. Our room was clean and comfortable. The building is older and it showed. Electrical outlets did not work. One was actually in the wall beyond the drywall. We only had contact with the front desk at check in and she was very friendly and professional."
