The Duke of Marlborough Hotel

The Duke of Marlborough Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The Room was clean and tidy, Bar excellent and restaurant good. The Canaduan Receptionist was excellent My only issue is the shower in the room, it had a fabric curtain which was clingy and extremely annoying and leaked water on to the bathroom floor. Fabric curtains are a product of the 70s and should remain there.. the hotel needs to upgrade to modern shower doors."

What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
They are quite similar. "Historic hotel" is a term often used in the US, whereas "heritage hotel" is common in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to focus on the physical building and architecture. Heritage hotels draw their meaning mainly from the cultural value and how it inspired the surrounding community.
Do historic hotels in Waipapa have modern facilities?
Yes. Every effort is made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, but hotel interiors are fitted with modern conveniences and safety features. Guests should expect the popular amenities you'd get from a hotel such as private rooms with updated bathroom facilities, heating and air conditioning, and free and fast Internet. In Waipapa, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's rundown or uncomfortable for guests.
