"Walking distance to Waitomo caves. Barely any other guests because I came during the off season. They said checkout was at 10am but my bus to leave Waitomo didn’t come until 4 so the host let me stay in the room for an extra half day without any extra fees. Breakfast was good, good variety of stuff for the price. Great for solo travelers or families with kids. There’s a restaurant nearby that I went to for dinner, it was also great. "

"It is always our best place to stay & caters for our whanau when we all get together with such a great big space it’s just unfortunate when others don’t leave the property as clean as I would like to have it so I do tend to waste time cleaning on arrival as I always ensure it’s better than how we got it.
