Aramatai Garden BnB is set in 2.2 hectares of garden.
A fully separate, and self contained studio cottage with a queen size bed, kitchen, and bathroom, tv with freeview and spectacular views.

Looking out on views of the garden and our farm, you can relax, recharge and focus on what you want to do.

Enjoy the birdsong and steady flow of water trickling into the ponds.


You can kick back and relax inside on lovely chairs, sit on the long deck overlooking the pond and garden and take a stroll around the stunning gardens and pond when you what to immerse yourself in nature and stretch your legs.

The property is 22kms from Te Kuiti and Piopio or 60kms from Taumarunui.

A day at the garden

Very comfortable, well presented cottage. The owner provides a good range of food items so you can do yourself a generous breakfast. It's a very interesting part of the country, a dramatic limestone landscape. Her gardens provide very pleasant walks. We had a very pleasant overnight stay.

This property was amazing for us, we had a couple days over a weekend and it was wonderful. would recommend waterfall, good 45 min walk with some bushwhacking to get there but well worth it.

Wish we had set aside time to walk the gardens and visit the waterfall. Had very restful sleep. Warm, comfortable country spot. Turn off comes up very quickly when coming from the south

This is a wonderful cottage! It is so well equipped and Jill is such a warmhearted and helpful person! All the tasty food she provides - the cake was just awesome. And the surrounding garden is a treasure, so many spots to sit and watch the beautiful scenery. Will be back. Thanks a lot, Jill!
