"Very large room with big deck. Huge bed and sitting area. Kitchenette was nice. However property is very dated. The room wasn’t clean. Worm found in bed. Cobwebs everywhere. Ants in the kitchenette that got into our food. Light fixture full of dead bugs. We didn’t expect anything fancy but we at least expect clean. Also lobby closed by 8pm which we didn’t know of so at least they left our key under the mat so we could get into our room. "

"The first thing that became obvious was that the gentleman manning the desk Geoff, was a very friendly outgoing and helpful guy. As we took care of the paperwork associated with getting the key for the room, he asked how long we were in town for and if we had seen anything. Telling him that we are only in for the one day that we had gone to see the glow worm cave earlier that day he immediately suggested going to locations that were within a 45-minute drive with the community. Not only did he recommend we go to see the Marokopa Falls and the Natural Bridge, he pulled up pictures and directions on Google Maps so I could see them. He also recommended a number of local restaurants to grab a meal at. He emphasized thst both of the places were free and a quick easy walk into ftom tge parking lot. My 14 year old son went. We easily found both and they were stunning. The room was as advertised with a queen size bed, twin bed, a well appointed kitchenette with chocolate complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate, and shower. It was impeccably clean and everything worked. The bed was very comfortable."

" The management/staff are great. They offer a home cooked dinner, which is perfect after a day of hiking and exploring. Their breakfast was just right for me. Personally, I would have appreciated shampoo and conditioner in the room, and a quilt rather than a beds cover. "

"Room was small no space to put anything. Was not happy that it was a shared bathroom, don’t recall seeing that in the description if we had we would not have booked. Location was nice with superb views."

"Fantastic Apartment, nicely furnished. Location was amazing, very peaceful and quiet. Nice and close to waitomo caves, and 10 minutes from either Te Kuiti or Otorohanga. Brenda and Andrew were lovely hosts. The dogs were very kind, esepcially Tilly, she demands many belly rubs. The recently installed Air-Con was a godsend for summer time. My Fiancee and I had a wonder 2 nights here. "
