"I didn’t have a mountain view from my room but that would have made my stay even better. If you don’t want to carry bags upstairs request a ground floor room. This is a beautiful property and I would stay here again. There is parking on premises and couldn’t fault room facilities. "

"NB: we ended up at Edit just as a major storm warning was issued. The whole town was battered and power was out for 2.5 days. Edit has a backup generator, which powered the restaurant, shared spaces, heating etc. We were well catered for and staff put in extra hours to keep us comfortable. Roads were closed so fresh staff couldnt get in or out. Edit Hanmer went above and beyond during difficult times."

"The room is very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Attractive interior design furnishings with a contemporary modern feel. Equipped with everything you need for an overnight stay. Tea and coffee making facilities, dressing gown and slippers and complimentary shower gel and shampoo. Very spacious bathroom with two sinks, large spa bath and two showers in a large cubicle! Loads of space in the bed room to move about in, a living area with fire and TV as well as a table and chairs to eat from. Comfortable beds and crisp sheets. Polite, welcoming service . Top quality hotel. Great for a celebration weekend away . Highly recommend! "
