We stayed in a yurt, so didn’t expect luxury accommodation. But, the ocean is just outside our accommodation, and we loved the sound of the waves when going to sleep and morning coffee on a deserted beach was awesome.
Check in was simple, and the cabin was very clean. The view from the rooftop was spectacular. Thank you for the experience!

We enjoyed staying in this yurt. It's right on the ocean, with plenty of scenic beauty and solitude. The only issue was that it should have cost about half as much as we paid ($400+). We stayed at other places on Oahu that were nicer and more affordable.
A warm welcome from the team for our stay, cabin was great, the team were very helpful, the area is stunningly beautiful with a wonderful beach , they also helped when we got a puncture with a local garage. Cabin was clean and well supplied . Would happily visit again.
Such a breath of fresh air! Only people on the beach were the few guests staying there too. Recommend watching the sunset down the road a ways at Ka’Ena Point!

What a spot!
Amazing location and wonderful staff! The cabins are very basic, but allow access to so much. We feel lucky we got to stay in such a beautiful spot.
Our stay in the yurts at camp erdman was AMAZING! The breeze that came through the windows at night was so nice for sleeping, the outdoor showers were so nice and there were new covered toilets which was awesome. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a slight power outage issue and they got someone to come and fix it asap. We would absolutely love to stay again ❤️

This is an incredible place! Very well done and beautiful views. Bring your snorkel and mask to snorkel the coral heads and see the pretty fish right off the beach below the two yurts beach entrance. Get your food in town and use the grill. No food stores close. Nice keurig, microwave, and mini fridge supplied. Take a square tub and fill with water outside the yurt to dip your feet in to keep sand out of your beds.We will be back this is a gem!

I wish I could give a better review. It's very secluded camp with amazing starry views. The newly renovated family cabins are nice. But that's about it.
Check-in isn't until 4pm, but you will get a vague message about late checkin after 4pm. A bit confusing and concerning.
The first cabin was absolutely gross, old, not well-cleaned. I asked to leave and get a refund but they refused and instead put me in a cabin. Then that cabin had a broken lock. When I again tried to leave, they refused to refund and condescendingly showed me how to lock their wonky broken lock. As a single female in the middle of nowhere, this broken lock left me feeling very insecure but it was getting late, there's nothing else around, and again they refused to refund, so I was stuck.
Then the bug. The cockroach I could have put a saddle on and rode down the beach! I know it's Hawaii, and it's a secluded area, but to have this mammoth bug in a newly renovated cabin was alarming. I barely slept. In fact, I left at about 4am since I couldn't sleep.
Then insult to injury is the random extra $104 charge.
I was so looking forward to this stay, but was so disappointed, disgusted, and disturbed that I literally didn't even stay the whole night.
The kitchen was also quite gross, with old worn out sponges, a dirty grill, and a refrigerator that doesn't close.
Spectacular place! Stunning beach and ocean. If you aren’t into camping and rugged areas maybe not your jam. But if you are ok with sand, small bathroom and shower, and sand it’s heaven. Water was rough with waves and rocks. A few areas with sandy beach. At the end of the road there is a state park. You need a pass to open the gate. Wish we got a pass before hand. Highly recommend for camping types.

If you are looking for glitz and glam of Hawaii, this is NOT the place for you.
If you are looking for the best scenery in Hawaii, the softest sand, perfect sunsets, no crowds and can stand a little bit of rustic, then this IS your place.
It is not nice or new but we stayed 2 nights in one of the beachside cabins. Staff was very friendly and accommodating only if needed otherwise left us alone. The beach is great and you can hear the waves through the night.
Again, if you are looking for a hotel or resort, this is not the place. It is glamping only because you have running water/ toilet/shower in your cabin.
If thats your style (like ours) then this is a must!
The Yurt was cute and a wonderful experience being right on the beach and hearing the waves. I just realized you're a 15 to 20 minute drive from any store and a 30 minute drive from a real grocery store. In pictures you see a coffee pot and a coffee press and cups you better bring your own coffee because they don't provide it!
Also they just give you towels, no hand towels or washcloths. Also the outside shower is just cold water which is bearable and the toilet area needs to be enlarged you can barely get your clothes off to sit down and do your business with the door closed other than that it was a wonderful time.
It was great being right on the water. Check in and out was great. Our tent was very clean. The water in this area of this island is very rough. Unable to ocean swim. The outdoor shower water is freezing. We went at colder time of year. The TP got soaking wet when rained. Outside bathroom has no roof. The grounds was not kept up. There were homeless people sleeping in mangroves around the area. I didn't fell unsafe but just a little uneasy. I think any camping area around the island has a homeless population.
Property was run down and dirty. Kitchenette consisted of minifridge and micro on top. No shelves, no chairs, no toiletries. Just a room with 2 bunkbeds and a double bed with bathroom.fridge and micro were both dirty. Shower was filthy. Light switch had dirty fingerprints on it. More of a surfer shack than an air bnb. A/C didnt really work. Internet service didnt work by the cabins, only by the office. Beach was remote and beautiful office staffwas nice.
Can’t beat the location and freedom being located directly on the beach with unrestricted access. Loved all the Humpback whale activity, sunrises and sunsets❤️ Only disappointment was the lack of hot water. Cabin was equipped with a new water heater which wasn’t working. Was quite impressed overall and wish to stay there again🤗
Our stay was part of a week long adventure in Hawaii. The view was beautiful.. sunset stunning The tent clean and comfortable bed. Outdoor toilets and shower were as expected. As a non resident this turned into our most expensive 2 nights.
Camp Erdman is a hidden gem! My family loved being right on the beach. The yurt had everything we needed except a beach chair. We will definitely come back!
