"All of the staff from front of house to the restaurant to housekeeping were friendly and approachable. The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfy. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower was great with a good water pressure. The only thing missing was refreshment facilities in the room for hot drinks. Otherwise a perfect stay and definitely would stay here again."

"We were given a room on the first floor. When we opened the door, we detected a musty kind of odor. Upon opening the bathroom door, the odor increased. It was coming from a drain in the floor. We covered the drain by taping down paper towels over it, closed the drains in the shower and wash basin and opened the window. Luckily, the smell diminished so that we did not have to change rooms. Upon some research on Google, found out that the canal itself added to the odor. We’re thinking the upper floors are not affected."

"A solid experience and great location. The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious enough. The shower room was tight and the hallways are right for luggage space, but overall doable and minor nuisances. The breakfast was also included and was decent, had the main necessities. Overall, would recommend to other travellers for location, cleanliness, and comfortable beds. "

"Breakfast was good, nice selection. Staff are polite, courteous and friendly. English speaking as well. You can book a gondola ride right at the hotel. No waiting. The hotel is central in Venice. A few feet away from San Marco square and the waters edge for boat taxis or the water bus to and from the airport. "
