Some friends and I were in town for a bourbon tour and a Keeneland visit. The property is gorgeous, and centrally located between Lexington and Louisville,
The house is immaculate and perfect for a trip like this. The host is excellent, and every detail of the property was thought of.
Our stay was over and above anything we imagined. Thank You!!
Nesteled in a very private setting.
Plenty room for 4 couples, just bring yourselves, nothing more.
As the farm resides in the middle of what is two trail loops, Lexington and Louisville one would find a nonstop adventure, just remember Sunday not all is open and the hours of operation are less.
The cabin was beautiful, very clean and more spacious than it appeared in the photos. We had a group of 3 couples and our young kids and it was perfect for us. We were wanting a quick weekend getaway in a secluded spot with some hiking trails close by and the cabin was just what we were looking for. We had bonfires and made smores with the kids and they wore themselves out playing outside on the large property. We cooked cozy dinners in and loved having our coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening on the amazing wraparound porch. It’s close enough to Frankfort and there’s lots of distilleries, parks and shopping nearby.
Steve was a wonderful host, easy to get ahold of and had the home stocked with everything we could need. The house is beautifully decorated with all the convenience of high end updates in contrast to the rugged exterior of the cabin. We were not ready to leave after the weekend!
Recently, I was a part of a guys trip down to KY to experience the Bourbon Trail for the first time. After looking at different houses and cabins for a week or two, I finally came across this one. I have literally stayed in dozens of rental houses all across the country, from the east coast all the way up to the Pacific NW. I have NEVER stayed in a place like this. Firstly, location was great. It was private (on 30-something acres) but it was still an easy 15-20 minutes to a handful of famous distilleries and restaurants/bars. Second, all of the amenities were as premium as they get. The beds, the showers, etc...were all top-notch. The kitchen was the most stocked I've ever seen. It was really nice to have everything we needed. The cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous and is completely outfitted with bourbon themed decor. To top everything off, the owner was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and bourbon and the trail. I can't recommend this place enough!!
Though the Bourb Inn sits on 30 acres in a rural community, it is just off I -64 and so close to everything. The cabin is appointed better than any other rental I have Stayed at. They thought of everything. The entire cabin was recently renovated, even the bathrooms are brand new. The kitchen is a gourmet kitchen, and the property is gorgeous. We will be back to the bourbon trail and this is the only place I would ever stay.
