Place was perfect for us, we toured a few distilleries, Buffalo Trace is just across the road. The place was very clean, has everything you need fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and bed was comfy! We would highly recommend!

Very convenient to the Frankfort area and areas surrounding. Loved the historic aspect of Frankfort and surrounding areas. Bourbon distilleries and eating very close and easy to get to.

Great place to stay for the bourbon tour visits. Clean and relaxing. Great host - easy to communicate with and makes sure you have what you need. Wife and I agree that we would definitely use the Bourbon Garage again.

Host super nice and helpful!. Answers emails and texts quickly. Place is fun! Safe and quiet and clean. Great set up! Very close to several cities such as Lexington. Hiking to Natural Bridge was neat and it’s definitely Daniel Boone country! Rebecca Ruth chocolates delicious and loved the rich history of the area. Enjoyed our four nights!

Across the road from 2 distilleries (Buffalo Trace and J. Mattingly’s). Next door to a little diner, Pops and Son, for breakfast/lunch. Very cozy accommodations and great communication with owner.

Would we stay there again - Yes, but we did have a couple issues and thoughts on how to make the stay even better. The location was excellent. Close to nearby shopping and restaurants (we really liked the food and the staff at The Brown Barrel). We could see Buffalo Trace and J. Mattingly distilleries from this location. We did have a couple issues with the washing machine and a few other items not properly stored, but management took care of when brought to their attention. Plenty of parking. It would be nice to have a place to enjoy the evenings outside - the fireflies were great entertainment. Curtains to darken the windows on the "garage" would have been helpful for sleeping in. The bed was very comfortable. We look forward to the opportunity to return next year.

We enjoyed our stay at the bourbon garage. The space is nice with a bedroom area, living room area, kitchenette and small dining area. The TV had Roku live and you could login for Netflix and Hulu. The bed was super comfortable. AC worked great. The bath and shower were small, but fine for me. The area is an industrial parkway but J. Mattingly is steps away and Buffalo Trace is a short walk (but remember you will carry your stuff back). The garage is maybe a mile outside downtown Frankfort, which is a small town but can cover your needs for bars, restaurants, coffee, ice cream and some quaint shops. We also went to nearby Whiskey Thief distillery, which was our favorite of the three.

This is a clean and comfortable property near Buffalo Trace. The positives include location, comfortable bed and furniture, a full sized washer and dryer, an Keurig with some complimentary k cups, and a full sized refrigerator freezer. A few drawbacks that are in no way a deal breaker: no dishwasher or oven/stove, light bulbs out in the bathroom, a soap dispenser that does not work well in the bathroom, and communication with the host is only available through the VRBO app. There was an honest error in programming the entry code, so I had to call VRBO when I was unable to reach the host via email in the app.

You can’t beat the location for visits to Buffalo Trace and J.Mattingly distilleries. The “Bourbon garage” is private, quiet and very comfortable.
