Mayor's Family House Hot Tub, Piano & 2 Kitchens - 5 Minutes to Ark - Sleeps 16+

Stay in one of Williamstown's most infamous homes. Previously occupied by the Mayor of Williamstown who was caught robbing multiple banks. To this day, his stolen money has not been found.

Thanks to the Mayor, we are excited to share one of the only known Kimball Player Grand Pianos with 100s of classics and holiday songs.

Notoriety aside, This house has:

We came to visit the Ark Encounter. It was very close which made this house super convenient. The piano, games and space in this house made it the perfect place to stay with a large family! Owner was attentive and quickly answered any questions. We highly recommend this home!!

Spring Break 2024

This house is 5 minutes from the Ark, which is why we were in the area. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There was plenty of room for both our families in this house.

Great Family Stay -Close to Ark

The home is amazing for a large family stay. Had a few hiccups, however the owners came to fix the issues. Hot tub did not work, but they really put every effort to get it to work. About 15 min from the Ark. Would defin stay there again and highly recommend! Great amount of space for parking as we brought our 32ft motorhome and had no issues parking with plenty of room.

We had a great time at the house. It was enough space for all of us to relax, cook and play games. We didn’t get to use the hot tub or fire pit because it was took cold and rainy. But all and all great stay!

Ark Encounter Get Away

Great place to stay when visiting the Ark Encounter. Less than a 10 min drive. House located in the small town of Williamstown. Located close to the towns ice cream shop. The grandkids enjoyed the game room, and playing ping pong. The player piano was unique. Everyone sat down and pretended they could play.

We had great time at Mayor's house. It surpassed our expectations in every way, and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a spacious and welcoming retreat for larger group. This house has everything you can think off. We specially enjoy the fireplace outside and hot tub. Piano was a big hit for kids. They loved it! The owners were incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring our stay was seamless and enjoyable. Great place to stay. I highly recommend.

Family vacation to see the Ark

We had three different families staying in the house with a variety of ages. The house suited our needs very well. The house was very clean when we arrived. Everyone had a place to sleep, however, some of the beds were more comfortable than others. We didn’t get an email prior to the start of the stay, but Justin was very responsive and check in was super simple. We stayed in this area for the main attraction of the Ark encounter. We were minutes from the parking lot. There are not many other things to do in Williamstown though and most things in the town were shut down for the days we were in town. We were able to visit some nearby towns for day trips.

We took our children & grandkids to see the Ark Encounter and the Mayors house worked out good for us! We stayed 4 nights! It is a Beautiful Victorian older house that was supplied with what we needed! The only thing bad would be the ants, outside & inside, but it is Summertime!

Family Reunion

We stayed here for a family reunion and toured the Ark for my mom’s 80th birthday. With a large group of people who traveled from many states away, it was especially nice to have 2 kitchens. From the teenagers on up, everyone had a good time. The house was nice, clean, and the A/C was cold even in hot July. Thank you!
